Our Buyers & Assortment Managers ensure that all these items are purchased at the right terms. They also continuously optimize our assortment so that we can properly serve our customers. They also ensure the correct determination of sales prices and the of promo dynamics.
For our Belgian branch and its various formulas, we are looking for a freelance Purchasing and Assortment Manager Dry Groceries (DKW).
As a Freelance Purchasing and Assortment Manager:
✅ Contribute to the creation and implementation of our assortment policy
✅ Are responsible for your own product group, including margin, price and promo policy
✅ Maintain good cooperation with our suppliers and conduct annual discussions ism Purchasing Department Netherlands
✅ Have contacts with almost all departments within our organization
✅ Have a lot of freedom and room for entrepreneurship
✅ Be part of various project groups
Profile:
- You have at least 3-5 years of purchasing experience.
- You have experience in a similar position within food.
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree under your belt.
- You have good category management skills, analytical insight and organizational strength. - Knowledge of SAP is a plus and a first experience within the food sector are assets.
- You are Dutch-speaking, good knowledge of French and/or English is a plus
- Needless to say, you are also an above-average food lover.
- You are passionate about both A-brands and private label.
- You are someone who shows courage, thinks in opportunities and possibilities, actively responds to them and is curious about trends and developments within your area of responsibility.
