Vacancy: Freelance File Administrator (A-Z/A-Y, 3/5)

Our client is an internationally oriented company with an office in Brussels. The focus is on providing high quality administrative services for their clients, mainly from Germany (80%) and Belgium. Their client portfolio consists of large companies with Belgian subsidiaries.


Job Description:

We are looking for an analytically strong and experienced freelance file manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete management of client files, including accounting and tax reporting. You will work closely with the team, consisting of 12 employees, to provide excellent service to their clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer files from A to Z or A to Y.
  • Assist with VAT reporting and tax deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate processing of accounting data.
  • Advise and support clients regarding their financial matters.
  • Collaborate with payroll department and other team members to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and attending training in accounting and tax law.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and act as liaison for all Belgian entities.

Prerequisites:

  • Experience in accounting or file management, preferably in an international environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, French and Dutch. Knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Skill in SAP and Exact systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and flexible in working hours.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
